Support your mental wellbeing with structured care, time away, and a space to reset
When stress, burnout or emotional fatigue build up, it’s often not something that can be resolved in a single session or by pushing through your normal routine.
A mental health retreat creates the space to step away, reset, and focus fully on your wellbeing, with the right level of support around you.
At Living Valley, our approach combines psychological support, naturopathic care, and structured daily practices to help you regain clarity, restore energy, and feel more like yourself again.
Mental health is not just psychological. It is closely linked to what’s happening in the body.
Research across areas like the gut–brain axis, nervous system regulation and inflammation shows that factors such as sleep quality, nutrition, movement and stress load can directly influence mood, clarity and emotional resilience.
When these systems are under strain, it can become harder to think clearly, stay focused and regulate emotions, especially when you’re used to operating under constant pressure or carrying a high mental load.
At Living Valley, our approach is designed to support these underlying systems alongside psychological care. By combining structured support with practices that restore the body, we help create the conditions where real mental and emotional change is more likely to occur.
You leave not just feeling better, but with a clearer understanding of what your body and mind need to stay well.

Ideal for those feeling overwhelmed, emotionally fatigued or in need of a guided reset with psychological support and structured care.

A dedicated reset for men experiencing stress, burnout or declining energy, with a focus on restoring clarity, strength and long-term health.
Our approach to mental health support focuses on understanding the individual, not just the label.
Rather than working from a one-size-fits-all model, our practitioners help you explore what may be keeping you stuck, while guiding you toward greater clarity, direction and a stronger sense of meaning in your life.
Didier leads the psychology services at Living Valley, bringing a calm, structured and highly supportive approach to his work.
He is particularly experienced in working with individuals who feel disconnected, overwhelmed or unsure of their next step. Using evidence-based approaches, primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Didier helps you move forward with practical strategies while staying grounded in what matters most to you.
His sessions are both empathetic and purposeful, creating a space where you feel supported, while also making meaningful progress.
Didier has experience working across a range of areas including stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief and life transitions.
Our mental health retreats are designed to support a range of challenges, including:
Depression
Low mood, reduced motivation, or a loss of interest in things you would usually enjoy, often accompanied by feelings of sadness or disconnection.
Anxiety
Ongoing worry, racing thoughts, difficulty concentrating, or physical symptoms such as restlessness, tension or trouble sleeping.
Grief, Trauma & PTSD
Emotional distress linked to past experiences, including intrusive thoughts, heightened sensitivity, or difficulty feeling safe and settled.
Burnout & Stress
Chronic stress, mental fatigue, and the sense of being overwhelmed or unable to switch off.
Unfulfilment & Loss of Direction
Feeling stuck, disconnected from purpose, or as though you are going through the motions without real fulfilment.
Uncertainty & Life Transitions
Reaching a point where clarity is needed, whether in career, relationships, health or personal direction.
It’s no secret that the mind and the body are intimately connected, yet this critical relationship is still often overlooked in most mental health treatment approaches. Our Mental Wellness Program leaves no stone unturned and has its roots in a holistic approach to mental health. Throughout your stay on the Mental Wellness Program you will receive the following:
What’s included in our Mental Wellness Retreat:
